1, high temperature resistance: the melting point of graphite rod is 3850ºC±50ºC, and the boiling point is 4250ºC. It is 10s under the ultra-high temperature arc of 7000ºC, the graphite loss is the smallest, and the graphite loss is 0.8% by weight. It can be seen that the high temperature resistance of graphite is outstanding.

2, special thermal shock resistance: graphite rod has good thermal shock resistance, that is, when the temperature changes suddenly, the coefficient of thermal expansion is small, so it has good thermal stability, and will not crack when the temperature changes.

3, thermal conductivity and electrical conductivity: graphite rod has good thermal conductivity and electrical conductivity. Compared with ordinary materials, its thermal conductivity is quite high. It is 4 times higher than stainless steel, 2 times higher than carbon steel, and 100 times higher than ordinary non-metals.

4, lubricity: the lubrication performance of graphite rod is similar to molybdenum disulfide, and the friction coefficient is less than 0.1. Its lubrication performance varies with the size of the scale, the larger the scale, the smaller the friction coefficient, the better the lubricity.

5, chemical stability: graphite has good chemical stability at room temperature, can resist acid, alkali, organic solvent corrosion.
